I bike everywhere everyday and had a problem last week with the gear, for some reason it shifted from 6 to 5 to 4 and stopped there, I couldn't get it to work and it isn’t easy bike in Halifax where you either go up or down, no straight even streets :)
This morning I searched for a video to show how to fix the gear and I found a bunch of videos on how to replace the gear cable, if you're interested go to YouTube and you'll find them there. Anyway, I found what I wanted which is adjusting the gear.
I did exactly what this guy did and it worked perfectly:

Thank you. Easy to follow steps. The video makes it so much easier. Watched once, then went and adjusted my sons bike. It took about 5 minutes.
